Hi, my name is Victoria Liono. I am currently a Grade 6 student from Singapore school Pantai Indah Kapuk – Jakarta Indonesia. I am currently a prefect at my school. I love to eat chocolate as a dessert, and Grilled beef / Sushi (especially salmon) for a meal. I also like to join Math and Science Olympiads.And there are also other things that I also like to do, such as Playing Piano, Gymnastics and Cheerleading, and whenever there is a competition, I always try my best by putting the most possible effort that I possibly could. Above all that, I am both hand sketching and digital drawing are things that I like to do as well.

National Heroes Day Celebration
Our first president, President Sukarno once said, “Bangsa yang besar adalah bangsa yang menghormati jasa pahlawannya” or “A great nation is a nation that respects the services of its heroes”. Every year Indonesia commemorates Hari Pahlawan (National Heroes Day) on 10 November. Why is it still important for us to celebrate this day in this modern age, when all of us are now global citizens? How is this celebration tied in with ‘Resourcefulness’?
Hari Pahlawan is a great opportunity for all of us to learn more about how Indonesian heroes used their ‘resourcefulness’ to fight for their rights of freedom and independence. We commemorate this event to remind us that everything we are enjoying today, such as freedom and education would not be possible if it were not for the past sacrifices of our National Heroes. We now ask our students – what does it mean to be a hero today? When you look at yourself in the mirror, around the school, or when you see your family members, who do you consider to be a hero? Selamat Hari Pahlawan, Happy National Heroes Day, 10 November 2021.

The SIS-PIK Olympics Committee is now preparing for our participation in the SIS E-OLYMPICS 2021 by conducting a series of selection and auditions. If you wish your child to participate in the selection process, you may click on the links below or contact the respective TICs and get the detailed information.
Our first auditions for emcees was held on March 10th. A big congratulations to Hillary Yap and Stanford Jusuf who represented SIS-PIK proudly in the finals! We are so proud! Enjoy! 🙂
Rules, Guidelines and Instructions
1. Tossing and catching rolled socks is an individual event.
2. The participant must have their own prepared rolled pair of socks (this can be prepared by parents)
3. The participant must place a big/wall clock beside the area where he/she is doing the tossing and catching activity. The big/wall clock must be seen during the video shooting.
4. The participant must toss and catch the rolled pair of socks above his/her head.
5. If the rolled socks are tossed on the participant’s eye level (not above the participant’s head), no points will be given.
6. If in case the rolled socks fall down, the participant will pick it up immediately without the parent’s assistance and continue the challenge.
7. The tossing and catching of the rolled socks must be a one cycle of 30 seconds.8. Parents will assist the participant to record and video shoot the tossing and catching the rolled socks.

"Galloping Pony” by Victoria Liono
So, this is my 2nd composed song, as you all know 'composed' as it means I wrote the notes myself. The title of this song is "Galloping Pony", it is about a farmer who owned a pony named precious that could not gallop. He tried to train Precious to gallop but no matter how hard he tried, Precious still could not gallop. One day, the farmer forgot to lock Precious’s pen. So, Precious escaped. When she heard a strange noise, she began to be scared of that noise and ran as fast as she could. But at that time she did not realized that she was galloping! The next morning, the farmer saw his pony got loose so he went after her. But to his surprise….."SHE CAN GALLOP!" shouted the farmer with joy as he rode Precious back home.
