Victoria Liono — About me

I am Victoria Severine Liono, a Grade 9 student at Singapore School Pantai Indah Kapuk (SIS-PIK) in Jakarta. I still have a lot to learn and many things I hope to accomplish. I hope that one day I can use what I learn to contribute to society.

Math is my passion. I love playing with numbers because there is one correct answer but many ways to reach it. Solving a problem and finally getting the answer gives me so much satisfaction. I join Math and Science Olympiads whenever I can and always try my best.

I have been a school prefect for five years in a row. I take debate (World Scholar's Cup and Model United Nations) and Math Olympiads as CCAs. Outside school I do gymnastics, cheerleading, tennis, swimming, and piano. I have played piano since I was three.

Sports have always been a big part of my life. I've trained in gymnastics and competitive cheerleading since I was young. In gymnastics, I won 2 Gold and 2 Silver Medals at the MOOSE Games in Bangkok. In cheerleading, my team placed 1st Runner-up (2nd place) at the 2025 Japan Open in Yokohama and 3rd place nationwide at the National Cheerleading Competition in both 2023 and 2024.

For about three years, I've also run sprints in school competitions, focusing on the 200m and 400m. In November 2026, I won Gold Medals (1st place) in both events at the SIS Games multi-school competition. Cheer and gymnastics gave me strength, speed, and body control, and I love pushing myself to finish strong in the last 100 meters.

I'm a fast swimmer in all four strokes, too. Last year, I represented SIS PIK in freestyle at the Jakarta Students Aquatics Championship and won a Bronze Medal (3rd place). I play tennis two or three times a week and am training for my next tournament, and I've enjoyed playing volleyball for two years as a beginner. Years of training have made me flexible and coachable, and I'm always excited to try a new sport wherever my school needs me.

I love drawing, both by hand and digitally. It helps me relax and notice small details. I also enjoy reading and spending time with friends. Every experience, good or bad, is a chance for me to grow.
